Home inspections are a critical part of the home buying process. For the most part the only time people do a home inspection is when they are thinking of buying their home. But if you have been living in your house for a few years it might be a good idea to schedule a visit from a home inspector as a sort of ‘check up’. As we all know, with time, homes age and things start to fall apart. By having a home inspector visit, you might be able to spot issues before they become major problems – such as moisture readings in your basement, around your kitchen or bathroom tiles, and potential electrical or roof issues. They can also point out some great preventative measures for maintaining a safe home.
